In the next few months The Savoy will be transitioning away from the Bistro menu we have been offering for the last 9 years. Over this time we have tried to stay true to the Midwestern recipes that originally inspired us, as well as to remain relevant to the neighborhood we love. Much of what you see on the menu today will be part of our new menu...fish fry everyday! Our goal with this change will be to bring prices down, expand the offerings of burgers, sandwiches and other items, while enhancing quality and service. We will remain dedicated to only using quality ingredients from local producers as we roll out our new menu. It is our sincere hope you will like what is to come. The Savoy Staff
The Savoy Tavern was established May 5th 2005 with the sole intention of bringing the dishes and tastes of the Midwest to Portland Oregon. Since then we have been serving up mountains of fried cheese curds, rivers of Friday fish fry's, and hours and hours of happy hours for our guests. The Savoy's room has been described as a dark, cozy, sleek, modern interior with homey Midwest charms.
Our goal is to provide our guests with the best value in food, beer, wine, and cocktails. Our food will bring you back to the home cooking of the Midwest, and back again through our front door. We pride ourselves on our regulars, our neighborhood, our staff, and above all, our good ol' Midwest hospitality.
